MPI compilation C ++ program appears # error "seek_set is # defined but must not be for the c ++ binding of MPI" solution

Mpicc and mpicxx commands of MPI compile C ++ProgramYou may encounter the following three error messages:

# Error "seek_set is # defined but must not be for the c ++ binding of MPI"

# Error "seek_cur is # defined but must not be for the c ++ binding of MPI"

# Error "seek_end is # defined but must not be for the c ++ binding of MPI"

 

Cause:

Is the result of a name conflict between stdio. h and the mpi c ++ binding.

Solution

Users shoshould place the MPI include before the stdio. h and iostream between des.

 

Simply put, it is the sequence of header file inclusion that may be caused by placing # include <iostream> before # include "MPI. H ......

 

 

Put # include "MPI. H" at the top of the page.
