Download Method:
1. MySQL official website https://www.mysql.com/downloads/
2. Download Method:
A. Select the corresponding module:
B. Select the corresponding version (here I select windows ):
C. Select the 32-bit or 64-bit version for download:
D. Click Download. It will allow logon or registration. You can skip this step:
Ii. MySQL installation and configuration
1. decompress the downloaded. ZIP file and place it to the location to be installed., Random location.
Open the folder, create the my. ini file, and enter:

2. Open WindowsEnvironment variable settingsIn the Path variable of the environment variable, put the full Path of the bin directory of mysql in it, and then add an English semicolon (;) after the Path to save.
Such as D:/mysql/mysql-5.7.11-winx64/bin;
3. Install the MySQL service:Mysqld-install
Start: net start MySQL
Stop: net stop MySQL
Uninstall: SC delete MySQL, mysqld-remove
The command line window must be opened in administrator mode.
A. install the service: mysqld-install.
B. start the Service net start MySQL
(The MySQL service is starting. The MSQL service cannot be started. The Service did not report any errors. Type net helpmsg 3534 for more help.
Delete the data folder and use mysqld-initialize to initialize the data directory.
4. When the service is enabled successfully, use
Mysql-u root-p press ENTER
Enter the password (in the data folder with the suffix. err)
Enter and press Enter.
Note: The old version does not have a password at the beginning. You can log on to the old version by pressing enter. The new version generates a random password to enhance security.
5. Change the password
There are three methods:
① Run the set password command: log on to MySQL first.
Format: mysql> set password for username @ localhost = password ('new password ');
Example: mysql> set password for root @ localhost = password ('20140901 ');
(Mysql> set password = password ('20140901 ');)
② Use mysqladmin (used without logging on to MySQL)
Format: mysqladmin-u username-p old password New password
Example: mysqladmin-uroot-p123456 password 123
③ Use UPDATE to directly edit the user table
First, log on to MySQL.
mysql> use mysql; mysql> update user set password=password(‘123') where user='root' and host='localhost'; mysql> flush privileges;
