After installing CentOS 6.4 on the virtual machine, ifconfig only the actual LO interface information, does not display the ETH0 network card information, enters the/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/directory, can see Ifcfg-eth0 file, vim Ifcfg-eth0 Edit the file, change the "onboot=no" option to "Onboot=yes", Save the exit, and re-excite the Network Service Services service network restart NIC to activate successfully. The purpose of this entry is whether the network interface is configured when the system starts, the default is no, and when set to Yes, the system activates the device when it is started.

To modify the gateway's configuration file:/etc/sysconfig/network

To modify the DNS configuration file:/etc/resolv.conf

Modify host Name:/etc/hosts/etc/network/etc/resolv.conf three files

Set a manual IP address don't forget to set up your gateway and DNS, or else you won't be able to get on the net.
