1. Original Library Open Archive mode
2. Use Rman to back up the original library
3. Target Repository Installation database software
4. Boot to Nomount State
5. Restore the parameter file and restart to the Nomount state
6. Restore the control file and boot to mount state
7. Rman Restore and Recovery database
8. Open the database in Resetlogs mode
