The Oracle Identity and Access Management (12.2.1.3.0) suite has two components:
Oracle Access Management (OAM)
Oracle Identity Management (OIG)
Oracle Identity and Access management supports two installation modes-standalone and collocated.
Standalone installation mode:
Standalone mode refers to the type of installation that is managed independently of the WebLogic server. However, Oracle Identity management and Oracle Access Management (12.2.1.3.0) do not support this mode. The only component you can install using standalone mode is the Oracle Identity governance Design Console.
collocated installation mode:
collocated mode refers to the type of installation that is managed by WebLogic Server. This mode is supported by both Oracle Identity Management and Oracle Access management. To install Oracle identity and access Management in collocated mode, you must also install the necessary related software.
To prepare your Oracle identity and access Management installation, verify that your system meets the basic requirements and then obtain the correct installation software.
1 Verifying the system environment: Before starting the installation, confirm that the minimum system requirements and network requirements are met.
2 Check any required patches prior to installation: Review the Oracle converged middleware Infrastructure release notes to see if there are any mandatory patches required for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to be installed.
3 Get the appropriate allocations.
4 Determine your installation directory: Verify that the setup program can access or create the required setup directory. Also, verify that the directory exists on the system that meets the minimum requirements.
5 Installing Prerequisite Software: If you are configuring Oracle Access management, you must first install the Oracle converged Middleware infrastructure 12.2.1.3.0. If you are configuring Oracle Identity governance, you must first install the Oracle Fusion middleware Infrastructure 12.2.1.3.0 and Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.3.0, and then install the Oracle Identity and Access Management.
6 installation software: run Oracle Universal installer to install oracle Identity and access management install software to transfer the software to your system and create the Oracle home directory.
7 Select a database configuration file and view any required custom variables: Before you install the required mode in the database, review the oracle identity and access management mode Sets the information for all custom variables
8 Create mode: Run Repository Creation utility Create the required mode for the configuration.
9 Create a WebLogic domain: Use the Configuration Wizard/Assistant to create and configure the WebLogic domain

Run Oracle Universal installer to install Oracle Identity and access Management .
Install the software to transfer the software to your system and create the Oracle home directory. Select a database configuration file and view any required custom variables
