Photoshop design newspaper advertisement with flowers as the main element-PS tutorial

In this example, we use tone adjustment to create a warm and lively screen background. combined with cartoon elements, we can make the advertisement full of childlike interests and cute feelings, so that the overall picture has an affinity.

First Look

Procedure:

1. create a blank image file and set the parameters as follows:

Width: 12cm height: 03cm resolution: 300px

2. open the document "flowers. JPG" and drag it to the current image file to adjust the size and position. Add "color fill 1" to adjust the layer. the fill color is yellow (R255, G255, and B0). set the blending mode of the layer to "overlay" and the opacity of the layer to 25%.

3. click the "create new fill or adjust layer" button to add adjustment layers such as "brightness/contrast", "level 1", and "color phase/saturation 1. Press the shortcut key Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the visible layer. Hide layers outside layer 1. Add curve 1, Level 2 to adjust the layer. Set "curve 1" to "overlay" and "opacity" to 20%.

4. press the shortcut key Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the visible layer. Run the filter-Blur-Gaussian blur command and set the radius to 13px. Add a layer mask, click the gradient tool, set the gradient color to black to transparent color, radial gradient fill, hide some images.

5. add "brightness/contrast", "color phase/saturation 2", and other adjustment layers. Create a Layer group "Group 1 ". Create a new layer in "Group 1", use the pen tool to draw a cartoon mobile phone and add a layer mask. Use a black paint brush to smear the mobile phone and the flowers at the junction of the mask to increase the authenticity of the flowers and the phone.

6. create a layer group "Group 2", lower the opacity of the cartoon mobile phone layer, select "Layer 1", and use the pen tool to perform Image mirroring on the place where the mobile phone is connected to the flowers, convert the path to a selection area, copy and paste the image layer, drag it into the "Group 2" Layer group, and adjust the position of the "Group 2" layer to be placed above the "Group 1" layer.

7. create a new layer, draw the shadow between the mobile phone and the flowers with a black brush, adjust the layer position to the bottom of the "Group 2" layer, and create a new layer group "Group 3 ", create a new layer in the group, use the pen tool to draw the dialog box path, convert the path to the selection area, and fill in white.

8. click the horizontal text tool, enter the text, add the "projection" and "stroke" layer styles respectively, and use the rectangular tool to create a flag with the text tool.

9. add "brightness/contrast 3" to adjust the layer, and apply it to the mask with a black brush to hide some images and make light and shade effects. Add "color fill 2" to adjust the layer. the fill color is pale yellow (R255, G250, and B218). The mixed style of the layer is superimposed and the opacity is 10%.
