Zendstudio has been used for PHP development for a long time. However, a virtual machine has been opened for 4G memory on a computer recently, and zendstudio is often stuck when a firefox is opened.
Along the way, zendstudio is becoming more and more powerful, but its performance is indeed getting worse and worse. I have to try some new ides recently. PHPSTORM and its related products are all well evaluated on the Internet. Today, I decided to try phpstorm on ubuntu in my house.
Phpstorm and zendstudio are both developed in JAVA, so you need to install jdk before installation.
sudo apt-get install default-jdk
Download phpstorm linux from the official website
Http://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/download/index.html
Decompress the compressed file
Tar xfz PhpStorm-* .tar.gz
Go to the bin directory of phpstorm and execute the installation script.
cd PhpStorm-*./PhpStorm.sh
The installer starts to start. During installation, enter the registration code (optional) and sudo password.
