1. Virtual Machine Settings
Virtual Machine Settings-> network adapter-> select Host-only: Share a private network with the Host
Description of three network modes: Bridging, NAT, and Host-only:
(1) Bridging: indicates that the local network is a real system. At this time, Linux has its own IP address.
(2) NAT: A Public IP address for Windows and Linux.
(3) Host-only: VM1 in the Windows Network attribute is used as a switch, which cannot be accessed in the LAN and can only be accessed by the current Host.
2. Virtual Machine Linux settings
Select Edit> edit VM parameters from the VM menu to view the subnet address used by Host-only VMnet1. For example, my name is 192.168.221.0.
Then, set the network parameter of the Virtual Machine Linux, the IP address is 192.168.221. ***, The subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, And the gateway is 192.168.221.1.
Open putty.exe at the end, enter the Linux IP address 192.168.221. *** port number 22 connection type SSH (with encryption function), and enter the user name and password.
