Idle is a python Development Environment officially recommended by python. It is very convenient. It supports syntax highlighting and Automatic completion, and supports one-click operation.
Take two screenshots to see the effect. The first one is the Editor interface and the second is the running environment interface.
I have tried several other models and found that they are not easy to use.
The official Python installation package is directly used in windows. Idle is installed when python is installed:

In Linux, the python interpreter and idle are separated, that is, they will not install idle for you while installing python, as in windows. You need to install idle separately:
Install Python:
Sudo apt-Get install Python
Install idle. It has several versions. For example, the corresponding software warehouse under my current Ubuntu has versions 2.5, 2.7, and 3.2. For example, you want to install 3.2:
Sudo apt-Get install idle3
