We sometimes need to upgrade the packages of the third party installed on the system to the latest version. However, both Easy_install and Pip have no direct command to use.
We can use the following command to see which packages on the system are out of date.
pip list --outdated
In fact, we can do this with other shell commands to complete the upgrade.
pip freeze --local | grep -v ‘^\-e‘ | cut -d = -f 1 | xargs pip install –U
or execute the command:
'^[a-z]* (
The rest is waiting for the download to complete.
The prerequisite is to install the setuptools before installing the PIP,PIP installation.
- Download Setuptools, Address: Https://pypi.python.org/packages/source/s/setuptools/setuptools-7.0.zip
- Extract
- The command line or shell enters the extracted directory for execution: Python setup.py install. sudo is required for the main execution of commands under Linux
- Install PIP. Execute the following command: Easy_install PIP. Also pay attention to sudo
