Linux remote connection tools are generally ssh, if you need to use Remote Desktop Connection, you need to use VNC or RDP (directly using the Windows Remote Connection tool can connect) here we first look at the installation of VNC in Linux configuration
1.) to see if VNC is installed (usually comes with an installation)
Rpm-qa |grep VNC
1.1) If installation is not installed using yum installvnc-server (if prompted without source, download Eple warehouse or rpmforge-release third party warehouse)
2.) Configure VNC
Vi/etc/sysconfig/vncservers
3.) Set the VNC link password
vncpasswd
4.) Configure the Linux firewall
Vi/etc/sysconfig/iptables (5901 here corresponds to the VNC configuration of the 1:root)
Then restart the firewall/etc/init.d/iptables restart or service iptables restart
5.) Start Vncserver Services service Vncserver start
6) Use VNC view Test here: 1 corresponds to 5901
7.) When the test is successful, let VNC start with the system
Chkconfig Vncserver on
