Reset the root password in CentOS6.6 (Single User Mode)

1. Press any key when starting the instance because the default time is 5 s.

2. There is only one kernel in the grub menu. There is nothing to choose from. Press the e key. However, if you have upgraded the system or installed Xen virtualization, there will be multiple displays.

3. The following figure is displayed. Select the second item and press the e key.

4. Next, add "space" at the end of rhgb quiet, type "1" or "s" or "S" or "single", and press enter to return to the previous layer.
