RPM Package Default Installed Services
To view installed services:
Chkconfig--list
Default installation Location:
/ETC/INIT.D Startup scripts
/etc/sysconfig Initializing the Environment configuration file
/etc configuration File location
/var/lib data
/var/log Log
/etc/xinetd.conf configuration file
/etc/xinetd.d Startup scripts
Start:
Using absolute paths:
/etc/init.d/Standalone Service name Start|stop|restart|status
with service command:
Service Standalone name Start|stop|restart|status
Self-booting:
Using the Chkconfig command
Chkconfig--level Run-level service name On|off
Modify/etc/rc.d/rc.local
Write the command that starts in the file, which needs to be in the form of absolute path
Example:/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
Source Package Installation Services
To view installed services:
View the service installation location, usually under/usr/local
Start:
1. In the final analysis, use an absolute path to invoke the startup script to start
2. Start-up method in the source package installation instructions will tell you
3. Different source packages, different startup scripts
Self-booting:
Modify/etc/rc.d/rc.local
Write the command that starts in the file, which needs to be in the form of absolute path
Example:/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start
The service that lets the source package install can be managed by the system command
Service command
Method:
Make a soft connection to the boot command and connect it to the/ETC/INIT.D
For example:
Ln-s/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl/etc/init.d/apache
