Check whether the jstatd port is enabled on the remote machine. The default value is 1099.
If you want to use Java visualvm, such as centos, on the server. Then there will be a warning: Environment Variable display is not set, because generally the server will not install X server. We can install an X server on a remote machine, such as windwos, to conveniently view the server running status.
SSH + xming can be used, ssh putty, xming: http://sourceforge.net/projects/xming/
As long as you set X forwarding in putty, you must also allow x forwarding on the server/etc/ssh/ssh_config.
Select enable X11 forwarding, and fill in localhost: 0 in X Display location. 0 indicates the xming instance number on your machine. You can set it through xlaunch.
Then run jvisualvm in putty, and your Windows machine will naturally jump out of the graphic interface. In this way, you can view the detailed running status of Java on the remote server, such as thread and Profiler option cards.
These tabs are not available if you use remote connection.
