VMware WSX allows access to remote virtual machines using HTML5-enabled browsers, including browsers on tablets.
VMware Workstation Technology Preview's Linux version introduced a feature temporarily named WSX, allow users to use Firefox 10 + and Chrome 17 + desktop browsers to access remote virtual machines on the same network. In addition, iOS 5 + and Chrome Beta tablets are supported.
This function uses the Canvas of HTML5 and the WebSocket function of the browser. Theoretically, any browser that supports both features can run without any additional plug-ins. You are welcome to use the Opera desktop version and try it on a tablet using Opera Mobile or Firefox 11 for Android.
