Using Vscode to write Python is quite comfortable, but if you install a grammar check plugin for vscode, such as Flake8, you will often be prompted with some very demanding grammatical problems, the most intolerable of which is line to long.
A row can only hold 79 characters? Obviously not enough! OCD is not tolerated for syntax error hints in code, so it must be eliminated.
On the command line, enter: Flake8--help, a help option is displayed, one of which is:
--max-line-length=n for the entiretyof thisrun. (default:79)
It seems that the maximum character limit for each line of Flake8 can be set, but only for a single run
Open Vscode's default Settings, search Flake8, there will be such a
"Python.linting.flake8Args": [],
Originally Vscode Call Flake8 time is can add parameters, so, we add a sentence in the user settings file, you can let Vscode call Flake8 each time add--max-line-length parameters, for example
"Python.linting.flake8Args": ["--max-line-length=248"]
This allows you to customize the maximum character limit for each line.
