Email viruses have to be prevented! There is another way to remove the email virus.

Nowadays, many viruses are spread over the Internet, especially through emails. However, virus or malicious code in the email must be contained in HTML code. As long as the email program does not parse and display the HTML code, nothing will happen.

Right-click an account and select "attributes". The "account attributes" dialog box is displayed. Select "font and display" to cancel the "display HTML mail with embedded ie" check box (1 ).

After that, HTML emails will be displayed in TXT. If you want to view them, click the magnifier icon on the toolbar. If you think the title of a letter is strange and it is regarded as a virus, do not click the magnifier icon. Right-click the magnifier icon and select a command to save the HTML content or open it in a browser (2 ).

Click "View> layout", cancel the "display Preview pane" check box (3) in the displayed window, and click "OK" to return. If you see a strange mail title, do not double-click it so that the virus will not attack. To view an email, double-click the email to view it.

Tips

You can also use a plug-in named no-HTML. After installation, Outlook Express does not display the HTML content in the email.
