Static member functions cannot access non-static member functions.

The static member function does not include the this pointer.

The non-static member function implies the this pointer. To call a non-static member function, this pointer is required. For example, to execute a non-static member function merge (), the actual result is this-> merge (), static member functions do not include this, so they cannot be called.

This is not required to call constructors. Therefore, static member functions can call constructors.
