Getting started with iOS development: detailed tutorials on publishing apps to App Store

For apps that have completed the test, only the last task is to upload the app to the app store. This work is relatively simple as a whole. Whether the upload is successful depends on whether your app meets Apple's software requirements.

Based on my experiences in successfully publishing an app, I will sort out the most basic publishing process as follows, hoping to help those who have not published an app!

Step 1: Preparations

Before the release, in addition to packaging the software archive, there are other things to prepare:

(1) If the icon is 1024*1024, it is displayed in the app store;

(2) Based on the app's usage range, the resolution for the iPhone is 640*960,640*1136. You can also remove the status bar, which is 1536*2048 for the iPad. At least one, up to five;

(3) prepare application descriptions, keywords, and support websites. This must be available for websites.

Step 2: Create your application in iTunes connect

Go to iTunes connect and click "manage your application" to create a new application.

For details, enter the SKU number as needed, which is a string indicating your software.

Bundle ID you should have created before. Suffix must be consistent with the bundle Suffix of your application in xcode.

The preceding steps are used to create an application. If you have prepared the application, everything is OK. After the application is created, the application is displayed in the prepare for upload status.

Step 3: make some modifications to determine the content

After creating the application, it is not good. After all, some application descriptions and multilingual version descriptions have not yet been completed. In this case, you can click View Details to modify some content. Click ready for upload to upload the application. The application status changes to waiting for upload.

Step 4: upload an application

It is very convenient to upload an application using xcode. After confirming that the application has no problems, package, open origanizer, and click the application. Perform two steps:

(1) Validate. Check whether the application is correct.

(2) Distribution: upload an application.

Step 5: Wait

After the upload is complete, the application status changes to upload already ed, and Apple will send you an email

Then it will become waiting for review in a few minutes, that is, adding your application to Apple's review queue and waiting for review. This wait time is about one week, and then the review status changes to in review. If everything goes well and the review passes, the status changes to processing for app store immediately, then there is a green light for ready for sale! Congratulations! Your software has been launched. You can see your application in the app store!
