Use graphical representations of your data so your application can access it. Create the database and datasheet, you need to let your application know it. This is where the database diagram comes from. A database diagram is a simple description of your data table that vside can use to coordinate with a datasheet. It also enables the IDE to automatically generate SQL statements to add, modify, and delete rows of data in the datasheet. 1 Create a new database diagram.
Go to the Database browser window and right-click the database Diagram node. Select Add New chart.
2 Let the IDE generate access code.
Before you tell the IDE your particular datasheet, it needs to create some basic stored procedures to interact with your database. Click Yes here and let the IDE work.
3 Select the data table you want to use.
Select the people datasheet in the pop-up window and click Add. Now the IDE is ready to generate code that is specific to your datasheet.
