How Can I copy files from ubuntu server16.04 to a USB flash drive?

1. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port on the machine with linux system, and search for the device file corresponding to the USB flash drive through dmesg, such as/dev/sdb1;

2. Mount the USB flash drive to the linux sub-drive, for example:

Mount/dev/sdb1/mnt

The USB flash disk is mapped to the/mnt directory;

3. Run the cp command to copy the file to/mnt. If the file I want to copy is/home/www/abc.zip, run the following command:

Cp/home/www/abc.zip/mnt/

In this case, the file abc.zip is copied to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

4. Run the following command to uninstall the USB flash drive:

Umount/mnt
