How can I set the shared file access permission and control the Shared File Access to prevent arbitrary access to shared files?
The security of shared files is related to enterprises' intangible assets and trade secrets. Therefore, you must properly set the access permissions for shared files to prevent arbitrary access to shared files. The method is as follows:
First, you need to download a shared folder encryption software, for example, there is a "Allow to shared folder access permission control software" (: http://www.grabsun.com/gxwjjm.html), and then extract, double click inside, as shown in: 1. run the shared folder encryption software
First, you must use the default logon password 123 to open the "browse to shared folder management software" interface, as shown in:

On the top of the page, click "Browse" to select the shared folder to be encrypted, and then click the user name on the left to select the shared access permission, select the permissions to be granted on the right side to grant the user the corresponding permissions to access the shared folder. If this option is not selected, the user is not granted with the corresponding access permissions. As shown in:
After setting, you can modify the shared file access permission at any time. You only need to tick the top access permission or cancel the check, and then click "Protect" in the lower right corner to change the permission.
At the same time, if you want other users to have the permission to access the shared folder, you only need to select the corresponding user on the left and then select the permission to grant to the user on the right, very simple.
After assigning permissions to shared folders, we also need to share the encrypted shared folders with LAN users for access.
3. Set the access permission for shared folders for access from other computers
(This step is very important. The write permission must be enabled for folders so that the permissions of folders can be allocated by the Software .)
For XP or 2003 systems: first, right-click the encrypted shared folder and select "properties" to go to the "share" page, and select "share this folder ", click "permission". On the permission settings page, select Everyone and click "Full Control" to check all permissions.
Click OK, click "security", select the "Users" user group, and click "Full Control" to check all options.
For Windows 7: Go to the "Security" Page and click Edit.
Select Eveyone, check "full control" in the list below, and click OK. 4. Access the encrypted folder.
We can see that all the data in this encrypted folder has been converted into. EXE format.
Double-click the encrypted EXE and select "run" to open the file browsing window.
8. logon window
Log On by account and password. After logon, only the permissions set by the Administrator for the users under the account. As shown in:

So far, we have successfully used the allow to shared folder management software to set the access permission for shared files, which not only facilitates LAN users to access shared files, in addition, it can effectively protect the security of shared files, prevent LAN users from accessing shared files at will, and protect the organization's intangible assets and trade secrets.
