First, go to Synaptic Package Manager. If not, download it from Ubuntu Software Center;
Search for apache2, php5, and mysql in sequence.
Select apache2. Other dependencies and subitems are automatically selected.
Search and select php5
Search and check the mysql-server-5.5 (or check mysql-server, which automatically selects the latest version for you)
Search for phpmyadmin and select
Click Apply to download and install
During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the mysql database administrator password and set the phpmyadmin password. You can enter one by yourself. For example, I use 111111 for all of them to make it easier to remember.
Close after installation is complete.
Test
Open the browser and enter localhost and localhost/phpadmin for testing.
