when we have finished installing the Oracle database, we will be thinking about connecting with the visualizer, Navicat is our common tool for visualizing connected databases
When we finish installing the Oracle database, we need to start him
Start the corresponding service first
Ensure that the two services are in a boot state and start manually without booting
Open SQL Plus
Enter the user name and password, which is configured when you install it.
The next step is to link the visualizer navicat
Open Tool
We create a new Oracle connection
Here I am named Oracle, of course, this can be whatever you like to go to the name, and enter the user name and password, just like
Inside the Advanced options
Now, if you connect directly, it's not going to work.
One more step is the key, is to configure the Oci.dll file
The Oci.dll file in the Bin folder of your installed Oracle installation directory will be imported here
E:\software\oracle\Oracle_win64\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\BIN\oci.dll
The above is my installation directory of files, people according to their own installation directory different to guide in
Restart the navicat after it is in, and it will automatically take effect after reboot.
We can test the connection first.
You can see the connection is successful.
