In ubuntu 12.04, how does one bring up the ibus Input Method? Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the home screen, select "System Settings" and select "Language Support" at the bottom of the "Language" attribute box. Select "ibus" in the "Keyboard input method System" in the upper left corner of the home screen. enter "ibus" in the search box of "dash home ", double-click "Keyboard input methods" and select "mimize active Input methods" from the drop-down list to add the corresponding "Pinyin" input Method in the "input Method" attribute box opened "IBus Prefernces.
