How to disable port 445 and port 445

Some ports in the system are usually unavailable but dangerous, such as ports 139, 135, and 445. windows is open by default. In this case, you can manually close these ports! Next we will introduce a windows Group Policy to disable all the dangerous ports to be disabled at one time.

Method/step
  1. 1

    Select "run" from the "Start" menu, enter "gpedit. msc", and press enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor. Expand "Computer Configuration-windows Settings-Security Settings-ip Security Policy, on the local computer"

    Take closing port 135 as an example (other ports have the same operation ):

    Right-click the blank area on the right of the Local Group Policy Editor and select "create IP Security Policy". The IP Security Policy wizard dialog box is displayed, and click Next; in the displayed dialog box, enter "Close port" in the name and click "Next". Do not select the "Activate default response rule" option in the dialog box and click "Next; select Edit attributes and click Finish.

    In the displayed "Close port properties" dialog box, select the "Rules" tab, remove the check box before "use add wizard", and click "add.

    In the displayed "new rule attributes" dialog box, select the "IP Filter list" tab and click "add" in the lower left corner"

    The add dialog box is displayed. Enter "port sealing" in the name field (you can enter it as needed). Remove the check box before "use add wizard" and click "add" on the right.

    In the displayed "IP Filter Properties" dialog box, select the "Address" tab, select "any" for "Source Address", and select "my IP Address" for "target address "; select the "protocol" tab, as shown in the settings. Click "OK" after setting ".

    Return to "ip Filter list" and click "OK ". Return to the "new rule attributes" dialog box.

    In the ip Filter list, select the added "port blocking", select the "Filter Operations" tab, remove the check box before "use add wizard", and click "add ".

    In "filter operation properties", select the "security methods" tab and select the "Block" option. On the "General" tab, name the operation and click OK.

    Select "New 1", click Close, and return to the "Close port properties" dialog box. After confirming that the port rules in "IP Security Rules" are selected, click OK.

    In the Group Policy Editor, you can see the newly created "Close port" rule, select it, right-click it, and select the "Assign" option to apply the rule!

    By now, you can add rules for any port you want to restrict access to in the same way.

  • Note: The IPSEC Services service cannot be stopped. If the ip policy is stopped, the service becomes useless.
