How to solve the problem that the custom JVM of myeclipse 10.x cannot be started under 64-bit win8, win810.x
Win8 was gradually popularized in recent windows 64, and many children's shoes began to use WIN8 for other reasons;
My machine is a notebook of a certain brand machine. Because of its so-called genuine version, I have been using win8 and gradually become accustomed to it, but I found a strange problem.
The problem is myeclipse 10. x is in the 64-bit win8, if the startup parameter (myeclipse. ini) custom jvm settings, that is, if you do not use the jvm that comes with myeclipse, you cannot start the vm or the jvm according to the environment variable. This is true for installation of both 64 and 32myeclipse,
Of course, the jvm here corresponds to myeclipse64 and 32.
The following error is reported:
Locate the log file:
Generally, the Jar package of myeclips cannot be found.
However, if you do not use a custom jvm, but use the default jvm of myeclipse to successfully startIf this parameter is not set after installation, the default JVM of myeclipse is used. Very strange.
I have never understood what is the difference between this custom jvm and its built-in myeclipse. I haven't found the answer after google for a long time.
- Use administrator permissions,
- It is useless to reduce the consistency between the custom jvm version and the built-in version;
Finally, try both in win 7 64,
Both 1 and 2 are successful and can be started with jvm replacement.
Whimsy: Can I directly run windows with win7 compatibility? Finally, the problem is solved:
Now, my environment is Windows 8x64 + java 1.7 32 + myeclipse 32 + custom jvm, And the compatibility is normal. Because I have always loved the 32-bit jvm, saving the memory. Hey ..
To solve this problem, we can only blame the compatibility between myeclpise 10.X and win 8 ..
Summary: Sometimes, windows compatibility can solve many unexpected problems.
If MyEclipse cannot run in 64-bit Windows 8, a prompt is displayed.
JAVA_HOME
C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0 _ 10
PATH
C: \ Program Files \ Java \ jdk1.6.0 _ 10 \ bin
CLASSPATH
.; % JAVA_HOME % \ lib \ dt. jar; % JAVA_HOME %
If you can run the code on the console, the JDK is successfully installed. The above is the JDK configuration environment variable for version 1.6.10.
In win8, Eclipse37 + MyEclipse10 cannot be loaded. All of the following MyEclipse plug-ins Windows 7 are normal.
It should be okay. You should still choose where the configuration is wrong.
I use Windows 8 and eclipse 3.x.
But you do not need myeclipse
