1. Install the rstatd daemon on the server
Installation steps:
1. Download rstatd from the Internet
2. Put the file in the/home/user directory.
3. chmod 777 rpc. rstatd ---- change the read and write permissions of the file and have all permissions.
4. chmod 777 configure --- same as above
5 ../configure --- Configuration
6. Make --- compile
7. make install --- install
8. rpc. rstatd --- start the rstatd Process
2. Configure in lR
Add measurement from LR, enter the IP address of the Linux machine, and display all Unix/Linux counters, including CPU, mem, disk, and network. This section describes several common features:
Average Load: Average load in the past minute
CPU utilization: CPU usage
Disk traffic: Disk Transfer Rate
Paging Rate: The number of pages in the memory read from the disk or written to the page file from the physical memory per second
Swap-In Rate: Number of processes exchanged to memory per second
Swap-out rate: Processes exchanged from memory per second
