How to Use the license to the shared folder encryption software for LAN Shared File Permission setting software

1. Software Installation
Share to the shared folder management software (Baidu search to download it by yourself) based on the B/S architecture, pure green without installation design, you only need to copy the program to a shared computer or server. You do not need to install the program on other computers in the LAN or adjust the network structure. (Note: Before protecting shared files, you must stop sharing. 2. Select a file
Click "Browse" in the upper-right corner of the software interface, find the shared folder to be managed, select it, and click "OK", as shown in:

 
 
3. User List and permission settings
After the shared folder is added to the protected folder path, all user accounts on the current computer or server will appear in the "user list" on the left, click an account as needed (or all users by default ). On the right side of "access Shared File Permission Settings", you can select various permissions that you want to grant users access to shared files.
By default, only the "read" permission is enabled for the software. That is, all users accessing shared files can only open and read shared files, but cannot copy, modify, cut, rename, and print files.
For example, in the "user list" on the left, select the "Administrator" account, and then select the corresponding permissions (copy, modify, delete, and so on) on the right ), that is, the "Administrator" account has the preceding permissions. If the following "Guest" account is not selected, it only has the "read" permission. After selecting the user name and the corresponding shared file access permission, you need to click "Protect" below to complete the settings. As shown in:

4. Add a user
Right-click the blank area in the "user list" box on the left and enter a user name. You can set it as needed without entering a password.

5. Set the password
If a password is required for access, click the user name on the left and then add the shared access password. As shown in:

 
6. Assign Permissions
If you do not want the newly added user to access other shared folders, you can select another protected shared folder, select the newly added user, and deselect the read permission check box. In this way, the function of allowing specific users to access a specific shared folder is completely realized, and then click "save ". As shown in:

7. Set sharing
After the shared folder is encrypted, you need to set it to share again so that the user can access it from other computers (Note: This shared folder must be set to share ), as shown in:

8. access Shared Files
After sharing is set, you can access the encrypted shared files on the local machine from other computers. As shown in:

Note: Due to the weak sharing Function of Windows operating systems, when accessing and sharing between different operating systems, you are often prompted that access is not accessible. In this case, you can run the command (START-run-CMD, press enter, enter net use */del, and then prompt whether to cancel the connection. Enter) to optimize and fix the shared access failure. If the user name and password are enabled for accessing the shared computer, enter the user name and password.
The password of the encrypted shared file is changed to .exe. Double-click this exe and the password box will pop up. You can click "OK" without entering the user name and password. This gives all users the permission to access Shared Files (specific permissions, depends on the permissions selected after you click "all users". If you have set a password, enter the password. If no password is set, click "OK ".
User name. You can also enter the user name and password you set later. After you confirm, you will have the corresponding permissions.

Click "OK" to go to the "Shared Files" list. All files are displayed. If you only have the permission to read shared files, other permissions will be disabled, including copying, saving as, printing, cutting, and renaming. At the same time, shared files cannot be dragged to a local disk, transmission via USB flash drives, emails, chat software, etc. As shown in:

NOTE: For the security of shared files, the copy permission of the operating system, clipboard, and other functions are disabled when you enable the encrypted shared files, if the shared file list is forcibly closed after you open the shared file, shared files that have been opened are also immediately closed.
 
9. Change permissions
To change the access permissions of different users, you only need to enable "Allow to shared folder management software" again, select or remove the corresponding permissions, and click "Protect" again to take effect. On your computer, open it again. For example, we grant "Aministrator" users "copy", "modify", "delete", and "Save as" permissions, as shown in:

At the same time, once the "modify" permission is granted, the "new" permission is granted, as shown in:

 
In addition, the shared folder management software allows users to copy or drag files to a shared folder after they are created locally, facilitating the creation of shared files, you only need to enable the "new" and "modify" permissions on the server.
10. Restore a folder
If you do not want to protect shared files, you only need to select a protected document in the "protected document list" and click "unprotect" in the lower right corner, you can also click "Emergency Recovery document" to generate a decrypted document under the directory where the shared file is located, as shown in:

11. disable Client actions
You can also add actions to prohibit clients from accessing shared files. Click the "add" button in the "window" box on the right of the software to add the actions you want to disable the client, as shown in:

 
You can add a description here and enter it manually. For example, disable the client from opening the "Search for compressed files" in the "file" of Winrar. Because the form name contains the "Search" text, therefore, you can directly add "Search" in the "window name" and click "OK;
You can also click "magnifier" and move it to the top of the "Search for compressed files" dialog box. This way, the program automatically obtains the window name and Class Name and adds them to the form, then you can click "OK" to join. At the same time, the client also needs to close the shared file list box and then open it again to load and take effect. As shown in:

 
 
12. Right-click encryption
The shared folder management software also supports the right-click encryption function. On the software interface, select "enable right-click encryption" and then you can right-click to encrypt the shared folder. As shown in:

13. Logging
