In May 7, IBM announced®DB2®Analytics Accelerator, a popular product extension, provides a temporary hotfix (PTF) and a large number of document changes. These changes will be made to the user during the period from January 1, 1.2, with multiple expected features added, such as reducing data latency and extending the product's storage capacity to more than TB. These new features will be outlined below and will be further enhanced in the next edition.
Incremental update
The new incremental update feature allows you to read IBM DB2 for z/OS®And apply these updates to the DB2 analysis accelerator to continuously update Tables within the DB2 analysis accelerator around the clock. When this feature is enabled, the Query Task enters the DB2 analysis accelerator running on the basis of near real-time version data. This feature prevents customers from reloading data for the current version of accelerators. When the acceleration workload requires the latest version of DB2 data, enterprises can use the incremental update function. Although full refresh and partition-based refresh are still required in many cases, incremental update cannot replace the refresh process. It only enhances the refresh function.

High Capacity
Expanded support to cover the entire IBM Netezza®1000 Data Warehouse equipment product series. The DB2 analysis accelerator has now expanded from a 1/4-sized chassis to a 10-Chassis Netezza 1000 device. This shift shows that customers need large accelerators to work with high-capacity data warehouses and IBM System z®. DB2 Analytics Accelerator V2 was first released in October 2011. It supports 1/4, 1/2, or a full-size chassis, limiting the Accelerator to 96 processors and effectively storing 128 TB. However, with the full scalability, customers can make full use of processors from 24 processors (with 32 TB effective storage) to 960 processors (with 1,280 TB effective storage.
