Figure-Sendmail Working Environment
SendmailThe construction of the work environment is actually quite simple. Let's give you an example.
Assume that the user wants to set up an email server in the campus network environment to provide email services for the user of this Organization. The server has a valid IP address of 202.99.11.200 and a valid domain name of mail.linuxaid.com.cn, And the dns mx record also points to this domain name (Note: here the example domain name and IP address are both forged domain names and addresses ). To meet domain name requirements, the DNS domain data file should contain the following content:
In mx 10 mail
Mail in a 202.99.11.200
Test environment: redhat6.2, sendmail.8.11.4, and qpopper4.0.3.
Through the above understanding, we can know how the usual Sendmail work environment is, and later we can get to know Sendmail!
