------ Solution --------------------
Apt-get installed? I see other people have such problems. can you solve them for you?
When using the latest phpMyAdmin, the logon page always prompts "you must enable Cookies to log on". This problem has plagued me many times.
I searched through google and baidu for a solution for N people. it seems that none of them work, and the problem still exists.
Later, I made some modifications and suddenly got better. the solution is as follows.
You can directly save the configuration file config. sample. inc. php in The phpMyAdmin installation directory as config. inc. php. This is correct. Note the following points:
$ Cfg ['blowfish _ secret '] = 'cookies'; be sure to fill in. generally, fill in the cookie.
In addition, if mysql uses socket connection, do not forget to modify the following line:
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['connect _ type'] = 'socket ';
The above steps can be correctly modified by the average person, but only the config under the root directory is modified. inc. php files cannot be modified. another file needs to be modified, that is, the config under the libraries Directory. default. php file.
In the config. default. php file, the following must be modified:
$ Cfg ['blowfish _ secret '] = 'cooker'; the file is empty by default. enter the same value as config. inc. php.
If mysql uses socket connection, modify the following two lines:
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['sockets '] ='/tmp/mysql. sock '; this parameter must be set based on your mysql configuration. if you do not know how to leave it blank, use the default mysql settings.
$ Cfg ['servers'] [$ I] ['connect _ type'] = 'socket ';
REFRESH The phpMyAdmin logon page. The problem is solved!
