Add/dev/shm space linux/dev/shm Oracle 11g cannot start, error: Java code ORA-00845: MEMORY_TARGET not supported on this system indicates that this error is reported when the ratio of/dev/shm space set by Oracle SGA is large. How to modify the size of/dev/shm? /Dev/shm is mounted in/etc/fstab. For tmpfs, the actual memory space is used. By default,/dev/shm is half the physical memory size. Therefore, there are two ways to adjust the size of/dev/shm: 1. Increase the physical memory of Linux 2. Specify the sizes size parameter for mounting/dev/shm in/etc/fstab.
