The storage location of heap table data is random when it is inserted. It is mainly determined by the idle data blocks in the database. The data obtained is calculated based on the hit rate, during full table scan, no data must be inserted first.
The index table (iot) Data Storage stores the table in an indexed manner. The data is ordered, and the data location is pre-determined. It has nothing to do with the insertion sequence.
The query efficiency of the index table is higher than that of the heap table (equivalent to the efficiency of the query index), and the data insertion speed is slower than that of the heap table.
