Install Pear OS on EasyBCD hard disk in Windows

Pear OS is a Linux distro with a mac-like interface. It is based on Ubuntu and is free of charge. Unfortunately, the update of pear is not positive after it is acquired anonymously by a large company. For the latest version, see Pear OS reproduction, Mac OS X-sector Linux system. There is a replacement for pear elementaryos, but currently the latter is not as beautiful as the former.

Here we will only talk about the differences between EasyBCD and pear.
1. The files in the Ubuntu casperfolder are named initrd.lz, and the pearsystem is named initrd.gz .. Lzand .gz are both compressed file formats. When configuring the menu. lst file, change initrd/initrd. lz to initrd/initrd.gz.
2. When installing Ubuntu, you only need to have three files, iso, initrd. lz, and vmlinuz, in drive C. However, it is not enough to install pear. the following error occurs only when these three files are restarted:

(Initramfs) unable to find a medium containing a live file system

Solution: In addition to the preceding three files, extract the pear. iso file to the C root directory.

3. When Ubuntu is installed, run sudo umount-l/isodevice after liveCD is entered. However, when installing pear, we use sudo umount-l/cdrom

# Ubuntu
Sudo umount-l/isodevice

# Pear
Sudo umount-l/cdrom

Other steps are the same as installing Ubuntu.
