Tip: At this point, the "Wwwroot" folder corresponds to the address http://localhost/ or http://127.0.0.1/
2. Visit Http://localhost/blog/install.asp (This is the Zblog installation file path, you have to according to your actual situation access), you can start installation program, if everything is smooth, that means no problem.
3. If there is an error in the installation process, or access to the site error, such as the prompt can not open/Unable to connect/database connection errors and other information, it is likely due to permissions issues, you will follow the following tutorial to operate.
User Rights Settings
You should know that in a Windows system, NTFS-formatted partitions are more secure because the associated permissions are set. Due to the limitation of NTFS partition permissions, the permissions of different users in the NTFS partition are not the same, and they cannot read and write without obtaining the appropriate permissions.
IIS uses the anonymous user "IUSR_ computer name", when the program is installed, "IUSR_ computer name" to write and modify files, connect the database also through the C:WINDOWSTEMP directory for data exchange, so we give the user "IUSR_ computer name" appropriate permissions.
Check the format of the partition where your site Wwwroot folder is located, and if it is in NTFS format, give the user the appropriate permission to "IUSR_ computer name."
How do I view the partition format?
Right-click on the partition icon and view the properties to see if the file system corresponds to NTFS, as shown in the following figure
According to the above analysis, here we will give "IUSR_ computer name" user Set "C:windowstemp" and "C:inetpubwwwrootblog" Operation permissions.
1. Open c:windows, open the "Tools"-> "Folder Options", remove the "Use Simple File sharing" hook, determine
2. Locate the Temp folder in C:windows, right-click the attribute, "add" under "Security", and click "Advanced"
2. Click "Find Now", then select the user to start with IUSR_ , click "OK"
Are you sure
3. Select the user just added, according to the following figure given the "Full Control" permission to determine
4. Also on the Website Directory Blog folder on the right key properties, "Security", select the iuer_ user, also give "Full Control" permission
5. Visit the website at this time, if everything is normal, then everything OK!
Summary
This article, while demonstrating the Windows XP system, is actually similar to Windows 2003.
If the site root partition is NTFS format, during the Web site running, the various inaccessible errors, generally due to permissions issues, you can follow the above method, the folder to give IUSR_ users the appropriate permissions. FAT32 format partitions, there is generally no such problem.
