Install MPEG-1 Layer3 (mp3) decoder, mpeg-1layer3 on Linux
Today, I suddenly wanted to play music on linux, but I found a decoder missing when I started it.
So I went to the Internet to find a solution, which was so messy, but a post provided a very simple method.
The following content is reproduced on the Internet
The above prompt shows that no decoder is installed. This is because the software does not contain a decoder due to copyright issues.
The solution is simple: Install the third-party source
32-bit system third-party Source: rpm-ivh http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.i686.rpm
64-bit system third-party Source: rpm-ivh http://pkgs.repoforge.org/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm
After installation, start music or movie and click search to install the decoder.
I am very grateful to Daniel for his help, so we can avoid many detours ..
