Install Oracle Diagnostics Tool

Steps for installing Oracle Diagnostics tool:

0. Installation Platform: Linux 3.7 As, Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2
1. to install the diagnostic tool, you must first install the installation package p361_80_11i_generic.
Uncompress, modify the file newprods.txt in it, change the tablespace name to an existing tablespace in the system, or create a tablespace by yourself.
2.copy the izuprod.txt,izuterr.txtand newprods.txt files to the appl_top/Admin directory.
The autopatchprogram always looks for the components to be installed from newprods.txt.
3. Change the directory to appl_top/admin.
4. Run adsplice (must be run under appl_top/admin). When the system asks about the control file name of AD splicer, enter newprods.txt.
5. Wait until the execution is completed. Execute

Where application_short_name = 'izu ';
Verify whether the installation is complete.

6. Execute select status

Where application_id = 278;
If a row is returned, the execution is successful. Otherwise, the execution must be performed again.

7. confirm that the izu_top environment variable has been set:
$ Export izu_top/mnt/raid0/u02/Oracle/prodappl/Izu/11.5.0/bin. If you do not set it here, the following installation prompt will be displayed.

8. Run the u3621380.drv driver.
Run adpatch to $ ad_top/bin/to answer several questions raised by the system, including izu_top. Specify the File Location of the driver:/home/applprod/3636980/u3611680.drv.
Exit after completion.

9. run $ ad_top/adadminnew to change the system to maintenance mode and exit.

10. Download The p5092220_11i_generic package. decompress it to/home/applprod/5092220.

11. run adpatch in $ ad_top/bin. to answer the system prompt, enter four threads. specify the folder location:/home/applprod/5092220, and specify the driver ., the system starts installation. wait until the installation is complete.

12. Run adadminnew to cancel the system maintenance mode.

13. Log On As A SysAdmin user to perform user management duties. Go to the "user" menu,

14. Enter the user who needs to add the Oracle Diagnostics tool on the interface, search, and click "Update ",
15. Click the "assign responsibility" button in the user information to find the Oracle Diagnostics tool responsibilities, select and confirm.
16. Enter information in "proof". Click "application" to exit.
17. log on to the SysAdmin user again to see the role of Oracle Diagnostics tool.

Oracle Support diagnostics are now launched exclusively from within the Oracle eBusiness suite. to accomplish this, assign the "Oracle Diagnostics tool" Responsibility (pre-seeded since the resulting l diagnostics patch) to eBusiness suite users.
The following tasks shocould be completed using a responsibility that can assign responsibilities (e.g. "System Administrator ").

To assign the "Oracle Diagnostics tool" responsibility to eBusiness suite users.

If "user management" responsibility is available
Select the "user management" Responsibility
Click on "users"
Query the user to which the "Oracle Diagnostics tool" Responsibility shocould be assigned
Select the "Update" icon
Click the "Assign roles" button
Search for "Oracle Diagnostics tool"
Tick the "select" check box and then click the "select" button
Fill in the "JUSTIFICATION" text field and then click the "Apply" button
Click the "home" hyperlink to return to the eBusiness suite Home Page

If "user management" responsibility is not available
Open the "users" form (Security> User> define)
Query an existing user
Add a row in the responsibilities sub-tab Region
Select "Oracle Diagnostics tool" Responsibility (Application: "CRM Foundation") from the responsibility lov
Click "OK" and save the record
