Install the Chinese Input Method for Linux Mint 14

Linux Mint 14 has been installed. Compared with the previous version, this new version supports the Chinese interface by default, but it still hurts if there is no Chinese input method.

I found the method for installing the Chinese Input Method in other linux mint versions on the Internet and tried it. It is also available on 14.

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa: shawn-p-huang/ppa

Sudo apt-get update

Sudo apt-get install ibus-gtk ibus-pinyin-db-open-phrase

(If you have replaced other software sources with ibus before installing the input method, you can directly execute sudo apt-get install ibus .)

Finally, go to System Tools> system Settings> language support and set ibus to "keyboard input mode system ".
