The Ubuntu compilation driver uses the RTL8192CU USB wireless NIC (the NIC sent by China Mobile ).
A wireless Internet access service is provided. Customer Service MM said there was an activity to send a USB wireless Nic. The result is a wireless network card.
Install the RTL8188CE NIC Driver (Mercury MW150U) in Linux)
Ubuntu 10.04 was compiled to W541U V2.0 USB wireless NIC Driver
In Windows, this NIC also comes with a drive disk. It is very easy to install a wireless NIC Driver in Windows.
However, the attached disk does not contain a Linux driver.
The latest ubuntu kernel is also added with support for NICs such as 8188CU.
I just want to get this Nic to ubuntu and try it to see if it can be used...
After a few days, it was still unsuccessful.
Finally, I went to the RTL official website to download the 8188CU USB wireless NIC Driver. (Download driver source code from the official website)
Find the corresponding Linux compressed package for the NIC model.
Here I download the RTL819xCU_USB_linux _ v310412.16.3.2_3192.zip file.
Decompress the package
Go to the driver directory of the unzipped folder, and set rtl8188c_8192c_8192d_usb_linux_v3.3.2_3192.20120103.tar.gz under the driver directory.
The compressed package is also decompressed.
Open this file
Export/driver/RTL8188C_8192C_8192D_USB_linux_v3.3.2_3192.20120103/OS _dep/linux/usb_intf.c
And find the location
Add
{USB_DEVICE (0x0BFF, 0x8160)}, // CMCC_WLAN
