Install the latest setup tool on CentOS
In RHEL/CentOS, you can easily use the setup Configuration tool to configure many key configuration items, such as the network, firewall, and service. However, after minimal installation, the tool is not installed by default. The command prompt is as follows:
[Root @ localhost ~] # Setup-bash: setup: command not found
In this case, you need to manually install this quick configuration program.
# Yum install setuptool
The setup command can be used, but the system service, network configuration, keyboard configuration, and Time Zone configuration are missing. install these configuration programs to install the system service configuration.
# System-config-network-tui Installation network Configuration # yum install system-config-keyboard installation keyboard Time Zone Configuration
The system-config-keyboard package has a lot of dependencies. You can manually change it if you can manually modify it. You don't need to install it if you have no special applications.
All commands:
[Root @ localhost ~] # Yum install setuptool ntsysv system-config-network-tui system-config-keyboard
