Installation configuration for MongoDB

Download software, version mongodb-linux-x86_64-2.0.2.tgz

Unpacked directory: mongodb-linux-x86_64-2.0.2

Then move to directory/usr/local/mongodb

Establish the appropriate data storage directory and log directory

Mkdir/usr/local/mongodb/{data,log}

Simple Startup Service

The execution of the/usr/local/mongod is OK, but the service stops at the end of the exit.

Run in the later stage mode

/usr/local/mongod--dbpath=/usr/local/mongodb/data--logpath=/usr/local/mongodb/log/mongdb.log--fork

Mongodb has many parameters, such as data storage path, port number, maximum number of connections, and so on.

/usr/local/mongod--dbpath=/usr/local/mongodb/data--logpath=/usr/local/mongodb/log/mongdb.log--config/etc/ MONGO.CNF--fork

Randomly start add the following command to/etc/rc.d/rc.local

/usr/local/mongodb/bin/mongod--dbpath=/usr/local/mongodb/data--logpath=/usr/local/mongodb/log/mongodb.log-- Fork
