Installation notes of Trilinos

Installation notes of Trilinos-general Linux technology-Linux programming and kernel information. The following is a detailed description. It was so nice today that I gave the research directory to sudo rm-r, and I didn't want to cry anymore. Simply reinstall it, and record the process.

The first is the blas, lapack, and ATLAS packages. The lapack can be directly sent to aptitude.

If lapack And blas are compiled separately, a prompt will be displayed during the lapack compilation process .. /.. /blas_LINUX.a: No such file or directory. In this case, make blaslib testing. finally, *. a can be used after being installed in/usr/local/lib. At the beginning, I used the ubuntu package. I checked it online and said that the package compilation results would be slow. So use this package again to complete the following work. ALTAS requires disable CPU throttling. I used to delete some related items in ubuntu, now you can install cpufreqd (sudo/usr/bin/cpufreq-selector-g performance ). The installation of this package takes much longer. Because the first installation uses all the deb packages of lapack, there is still a gap between the time shown in make time and the reference, so I re-compiled it again, hoping it would be faster, at least the gap should not be that big.

Khan died. Originally, gcc 4.1.x had a lot of floating point buckets. If it wasn't for installing ALTAS, maybe I still don't know ~~ Ubuntu still defaults to 4.1.3. Most people may not care about this. The GCC homepage has versions 4.3.0.

1. After gcc is properly installed, restart Lapack, blas, and ALTAS.
