Installing Linux Integration Services on the "Vmcloudlab" hyper-V Platform

Since Hyper-V does not have an integrated Linux Integration Services installation package, we need to download it separately, as of now the latest version is 3.5:

After we install the Linux operating system, we need to install the Linux driver manually, whether VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V needs to do this, which is not as convenient as the Windows system.

It is preferred to mount the downloaded image to a Linux virtual machine and then log on to the Linux virtual machine for the following steps:

1. Create a temporary file

# Mkdir/mnt/cdrom

2. Mount Optical drive files to CDROM

# Mount/dev/cdrom/mnt/cdrom

3. create a file to copy the contents of an optical drive

# Mkdir/opt/linux

4. Copy all files to the new folder

# cp–r/mnt/cdrom/*/opt/linux

5. go to the Linux folder

#cd/opt/linux/

6. Enter LS to list file lists

# ls

7. into your Linux version, mine is RHEL6012.

#cd RHEL6012

#ls

8. Installing Integration Services

#./install.sh
