Double-click the. exe installation file for SQL Server 2008 and go to the SQL Server Installation Center.

Click "Install" on the left side of the interface, then click "New SQL Server standalone installation or add features to an existing installation" on the right, and go to the "SQL Server 2008 Setup" interface, first, "Setup support Rules", then click "OK" after the operation is complete.

Go to "Product Key", select the appropriate version (I can't choose here), click "Next".

Go to "license Terms" and tick "I accept the License terms" and click "Next" directly.

Go to "Installer support file" and click "Install" button to start installing support files.
After the installation is complete, go to "Setup Support rules", click "Show Details" to see a detailed list of rules, click "Next".
Go to "Feature selection", Here I choose "Select All", you can also select the specific functions required, and can change the installation location, after the setup is complete, click "Next".
Go to "instance configuration", here I directly select "named instance", others follow the default settings, click "Next".
Go to "disk space requirements" to show the use of the disk, you can directly click "Next".
Go to server configuration, click Use the same account for all SQL Server services, select NT Authority\System, and then click Next.
Go to Database engine configuration and click Add Current user to specify the SQL Server administrator so that the administrator is the system administrator, and then click Next directly after setting up.
Go to "Reporting Services Configuration" and select the first item directly by default and click "Next".
Go to error and usage report, you can select one of these items, send the relevant content to Mircosoft, or leave the selection, and then click Next.
Go to "Installation Rules" and click "Next" directly.
Go to "Installation progress", SQL Server 2008 start installation, do not care about it, wait for the installation to complete. When the installation is complete, it lists what features are installed and prompts the installation process to complete, then click Next to go to the finish interface and prompt that SQL Server 2008 installation completed successfully.
