Is the PHP result set different from the ASP record set? I think the PHP result set is the same as the ASP record set. they are all virtual tables in the memory, each pointer points to the current record.
Some operations on them are different.
PHP
After each output record, the record set pointer can be automatically moved down, and the result set can be automatically closed.
ASP
You need to manually use rs. movenext to move the record set pointer to the next one. The record set must be disabled manually.
ASP has BOF and EOF attributes, but PHP does not
I don't know if I understand it. I hope you can add or correct it.

RecordSet is a component of ADODB.
Result is a resource number.
Both represent the query results, but they are completely different.
But from the perspective of implementation functions, are they basically the same?
The two resources have different types, but the functions are the same.
Mysql_fetch_array of php is mobile
Refer to the following code
$ Result = mysql_query ("SELECT id, name FROM mytable ");
While ($ row = mysql_fetch_array ($ result, MYSQL_NUM )){
Printf ("ID: % s Name: % s", $ row [0], $ row [1]);
}
But from the perspective of implementation functions, are they basically the same?
The functions are basically the same. All are cyclic result set data.
