Kubuntu (14.04) shared wifi (Hotspot)
The laptop (kubuntu14.04) uses wired Internet access to share the wireless connection of the Local Computer to mobile phones, tablets, and other devices that use wifi.
I used to find various methods on the Internet. I have downloaded a lot of software and cannot share wifi on the local machine. The following method is relatively simple and feasible.
1. Open the network settings window.
2. Click Add and select Wireless (shared) or Wireless (shared). The following window is displayed:
1) parameter configuration, for example, set the SSID and the network ID that can be found in other network settings. Here I am LYH, and the Random button on the Right of MAC address randomly generates
2) wireless security tag parameter configuration. The password is required for accessing the Internet.
3) IPv4 tag parameter configuration
4) Other configurations are not required.
5) use your phone to discover the Wi-Fi signal of LYH and use the password above to access the Internet.
