Linux Enterprise-High availability hi Availability

I. Concept INTRODUCTION

HA (High availability) refers to improving system and application availability by minimizing downtime due to routine maintenance operations (planning) and sudden system crashes (unplanned). It differs from the fault-tolerant technology that is considered to be uninterrupted operation. Ha system is the most effective method to prevent the failure of core computer system in the current enterprise.
High Availability (Hi availability) provides a way to minimize the risk of a single point of failure in your network. For example, for an enterprise that deploys a firewall, all incoming and outgoing traffic must go through a firewall, from a network security consideration. At this point the firewall is a single point of failure. For many enterprises, a long service outage (perhaps a few minutes) is unacceptable, which introduces high availability requirements. With the increase of the network application and the demand of the service real-time, the demand of the user for high availability is more and more strong. As a single point-of-failure device in the network, firewalls need to provide a high-availability solution.
