Archive Management
- tar [parametric] Xxx.tar file
–c Generating the archive file, creating a packaged file
-V lists the detailed process of archive files, showing progress
-f Specifies the file name, after F must be a. tar file
-T lists the files contained in the archive
-X Unlock file archive
Cases:
1) Packaging files
2) Unzip the file
Unzip the file to the specified path: TAR–XVF packaged file name –C path

- gzip [Options] Compressed files
-D Decompression
-R compresses all subdirectories
TAR-ZCVF: Package and Compress
TAR-ZXVF: Decompression
1) Tar jcvf xxx.bz2 file (compressed bz2 file)
2) Tar jxvf xxx.bz2 file (unzip bz2 file)
1) Zip [-r] Xxx.zip file
2) Unzip–d folder Xxx.zip
Note:
Linux commonly used compression format. bz2. gz. zip
Zip in Windows can be used directly, the other two formats of compressed files may need to install special decompression software
