To query the package that a file belongs to

> Query the list of files included in the package

#rpm-QL xplus-3.3.1-lglibc213

Query the list of all files included in the installed package

> Query Package summary information

#rpm-qi xplus-clm-3.3.1.1

> Query all installed Packages

#rpm-qa |grep ____ Package name

#rpm-IVH xplus-elm-3.3.1-l.i386.rpm

Install the Xplus-elm package in the current directory

> Test installation is not actually installed when the test installation has no error message

Physically install again #rpm-I--test xplu-elm-3.3.1-1.i386.rpm

> Force installation ignores package and file conflicts

#rpm-IVH--fore xplus-elm-3.3.1.-1.i386.rpm

You can also install an already installed RPM package

> Removal

#rpm-E Xplus-elm

> Forced removal

#rpm--nodeps-e Xplus-elm

> View all Mounted Packages
